DESCRIPTION:

If you’re new to functional training, it can be overwhelming choosing what you want to specialize in. Our Functional Training Masterclass gives you a single day introduction into our primary functional training courses: Kettlebells, Powerbags, Battling Ropes and Mobility. This taster course is perfect for those just starting out in functional training and want to learn a little bit of everything.

WITHIN THE MASTERCLASS, WE INTRODUCE YOU TO A RANGE OF CONCEPTS AND TECHNIQUES FROM OUR CORE WORKSHOPS. WE WANT YOU TO WALK AWAY WITH TANGIBLE TOOLS THAT YOU CAN USE IN YOUR NEXT PT SESSION.

  • True principles of the functional training
  • Mobility and Stability: How to activate and prime your clients using mobility techniques
  • Primary Movement Patterns: How our body moves and how to develop it for health and performance
  • Adaptive Functional Training System Model
  • Introduction to Master Functional Trainer Certification Course
  • Functional Training Tools:

KETTLEBELLS 

Kettlebells are on one of the most powerful tools on the planet for developing strength, power and endurance. They are incredibly versatile as there are hundreds of exercises that be performed. We will teach you a range of Kettlebell exercises.

POWERBAGS

Powerbags are one of the BEST tools for teaching people essential movements. Our training is primarily focused on teaching hip, knee and pressing mechanics. We will cover basic Powerbag movements.

BATTLING ROPES

We provide one of only two certified Battling Ropes courses on the planet. This means we have a comprehensive training system that will revolutionise your programs. It will generate excitement, incredible results and great interaction. We will cover basic Battling Ropes movements.

MOBILITY

Mobility is an essential component of ANY exercise program. This is the case whether it is a one on one session or group exercise session. It is paramount to helping your participants move better and minimising the chances of injury occurring. We will cover a range of basic mobilisations.

Our mission is to equip and provide fitness professionals and companies with high quality education so they can deliver exercises and programs around these tools safely and correctly.
