This summer I did a trekking in the Himalayas together with my husband and our teenage children.
The highest point of the trek was 4800 meters. Since it was my first trekking at that altitude, I felt I needed some physical preparation.
I started to work with Mariusz at Body Shape in D2. Mariusz prepared a personalized 12-week training program. I trained 4 times a week, alternating cardio and strength exercises. I’ve never run up and down more stairs in my whole life.
The first 2 sessions were really though. But after that I began to enjoy them and quickly felt progress.
Mariusz is a fantastic trainer/teacher. He pushes the limits without ever risking injuries.
The trekking was a big success. Because I was physically prepared, I could enjoy the beauty of the scenery even though some of the walks were pretty strenuous.
Through the training program I started feeling and seeing positive changes in my body shape. Because it feels good I continue the workouts 3 times a week with Mariusz.
