To Whom It May Concern,
On behalf of the Early Childhood and Elementary School at Saigon South International School, I would like to share our appreciation and recommendation of a high quality Taekwon-Do program offered by Mr. Mariusz Steckiewicz.

SSIS is a standards-based American curriculum school located in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City,
Vietnam. The school serves approximately 800 international students from early childhood 3 years old through to grade 12, a private education that challenges minds, nurtures growth and develops global citizens. Our mission is to provide “a college preparatory school committed to the intellectual and personal development of each student in preparation for a purposeful life as a global citizen.”
ITF Taekwon-Do Viet Nam or, “Little Tigers,” is offered at SSIS for students ages 7-12 years-old in our Extra-Curricular Activities Program, ECAP. This after-school program runs Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15-4:00pm. These activities support our school’s core values and in particular, Balance in Life, which fosters the sense that children grow and learn best with a variety of enriching life experiences.
Technical Director, Mr. Steckiewicz and his team, implement a curricular program of disciplined
learning that balances the integrity of high standards in technique with fun and enthusiasm students enjoy. Parents and students have shared positive feedback about the training sessions, which provide children with exercises focusing on technique, balance, concentration, control, and strength. Upon observation of his sessions though, students are completely engaged through fun and interactive games. Mr. Steckiewicz masterfully demands mental concentration and discipline, yet with a soft and compassionate concern for the welfare and wellbeing of joy and excitement that accompanies the sport.
As the supervising coordinator or our ECAP at SSIS, I highly recommend any other school or
community to consider ITF Taekwon-Do Viet Nam, “Little Tigers” as a positive program for
children.
